The upper is based on the classic AF1 silhouette, with premium ostrich leather applied to the heel. Embroidered cherry blossom motifs and the word “UENO” further highlight the design’s deep ties to Japanese culture.
These embroidery details were later carried over to the released Nike Air Force 1 “UENO SAKURA” (309360-001), underlining the design significance of this sample.
